John Daly says play ball

John Daly got on TV recently and implored Tiger to just do it.. and play golf. We imagine he’ll send him a letter next. We bet it will look something like this:

Dear Ti’

Dude, go play golf. Forget the drama. Forget the chicks. Forget Vegas. Forget the old ball and chain. Forget the rugrats. Get your butt back on the golf course and do what you do best: smack the dang ball around. (more…)

Radiation stickers coming to cell phones?

iphone_radiationIf San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom (we’re told he had to surrender the “e” from his name because he had no “ethics”) gets his way, we’ll all have  radiation stickers on our phones.  Some little outfit who call themselves the  “Federal Communications Commission” has already declared phones legally sold in the U.S. to be safe, but that aint stoppin’ ol’ Gavin and the gang. They are set to vote on the new legislation within a month or two!

So has Gavin turned a new life leaf? Is he really worried about folks growing smurfs on their ears? Maybe. But our money says it’s more likely GaVAIN is just l (more…)

Stank o’ the Week: Utah Mystery

joshua_powell1Ok, so we are not forensic scientists here at TJ.   But do you need to be one to put the pieces of this so-called “inexplicable” yarn together?

Let’s have a look at the timeline:  The wife and husband don’t show up for work on Monday, the cops go out to their house and bust in to find a wet spot on the floor with two fans blowing on it. Uh oh! The whole family is missing!  But wait, no they’re not! Here comes the husband with his two kids in tow! (more…)

McKnight hearts McKnight

brian_mcknightIn what might be the most narcissistic moment–strike that, eight moments– in the history of television, Brian McKnight, the man who readily admits his twelve year marriage was an inconvenience that caused him to “miss out on my twenties,” went full Tugg Speedman this week and interviewed a mirage of himself on his own Brian McKnight variety show.

The former celebrity apprentice wannabe (and R&B crooner) not only interviewed himself, he introduced himself with a full blown list of accolades and accomplishments and declared it was “nice to have” himself on his own program (which drew his twin’s response “It’s nice to have you all here… mi casa es su casa”). Stank o’ the Week: Hugh Hefner

Our inaugural Stank-of-the-Week award goes to Hugh Hefner. When the “Hef” was recently asked about Tiger Woods’ marital “transgressions,” he said, “I think the only surprise in it, quite frankly, is that anybody would be surprised. If you’re a good-looking guy and young and healthy, the notion that there would be something else going on, well, marriage is just a convenience. It’s very nice for raising kids, but the notion that monogamy lasts forever is a wish!” (more…)
