Our inaugural Stank-of-the-Week award goes to Hugh Hefner. When the “Hef” was recently asked about Tiger Woods’ marital “transgressions,” he said, “I think the only surprise in it, quite frankly, is that anybody would be surprised. If you’re a good-looking guy and young and healthy, the notion that there would be something else going on, well, marriage is just a convenience. It’s very nice for raising kids, but the notion that monogamy lasts forever is a wish!”
This quote marks a change in my opinion of Hefner. I used to think he was just a rebel without a cause who got a perverse thrill out of training teenage boys to objectify women and judge them on the size of their boobs and butts instead of their brains and heart. Turns out ol’ Hef’s as ignorant as the buxom blonds that grace his magazine covers. And this is what we call a “successful man.” Funny.
Mamas don’t let your babies grow up to be hefners. They stank.
