Facebook Founder Zuckerberg Hacked Emails, Sabotaged Rivals

From Slate.com: “In a series of articles about Facebook’s shady origins, Business Insider contends that the FB website’s beginning was marked by backstabbing and unethical behavior on behalf of its 19-year-old founder, Harvard sophomore Mark Zuckerberg. The details of how Facebook got off the ground have always been a little murky—four years after the site took off; Zuckerberg paid a $65 million out-of-court settlement to former partners Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who sued him for stealing their social networking ideas. The crux of the Winklevoss twins’ case relied on the contents of Zuckerberg’s hard drive, which they said contained proof that Zuckerberg had sabotaged the site that they hired him to develop. The hard drive was never released, but Business Insider obtained records of Zuckerberg’s IMs that, if true, confirm that Zuck had deliberately postponed work on the Winklevoss project, ConnectU, in order to develop and preemptively launch Facebook. “Zuck: Yeah, I’m going to fuck them,” one IM reads. “Probably in the year… *ear.”

The investigation also unearthed two accounts of Zuckerberg using Facebook data to hack into private accounts, including those of two Harvard Crimson journalists. In 2004, Zuckerberg allegedly hacked into ConnectU and vandalized a series of accounts.  He also—in a moment of maturity—set up a fake account for Cameron Winkelvoss in which he listed Winkevoss’ hair color as “Ayran Blond,” and his “language” as “WASP-y.” More serious, though, was the allegation that in 2004, Zuckerberg used Facebook data to hack into two Crimson reporters’ email accounts. The paper was planning to run an article about Zuckerberg’s run-in with the Winklevosses, and the Facebook founder apparently couldn’t wait to see what it was going to say.  Facebook has responded to all the stories with a blanket statement: “We’re not going to debate the disgruntled litigants and anonymous sources who seek to rewrite Facebook’s early history or embarrass Mark Zuckerberg with dated allegations.”

Yeah well…… with his kind of money he should be able to shoo this little “problem” away…. although the STANK will always remain.

We wish Facebook and ALL social networking sites would FOLD

PS: does Zuckerbird looks exactly like Bill Gates or is it just us????
