Porn movie title or American Idol coronation song? Unfortunately the latter. Actually, I wanted to make the headline for this blog “kara-dioguardi-stinks-up-american-idol-final-with-horrid-songwriting” but I just couldn’t resist the Michael Scott quip. I can live with the permalink.
I remember seeing a poll on CNN a long time ago where people were asked to vote for the worst song ever. I believe the winner was “These Boots Were Made for Walkin’” by Nancy Sinatra. Well move over Nancy, because Kara Dioguardi and her crack squad of “songwriters” have all but guaranteed future consideration for that dubious distinction with the pathetic stinker-of-a-coronation song Adam Lambert and Kris Allen were likely coerced into singing in tonight’s American Idol (more…)

On mine exists a bag of Santitas tortilla chips with a big red badge on the bag stating “$2 ONLY.” Come again Pedro? Shouldn’t that be “ONLY $2″??
Then again, is anyone even watching anymore? It won’t be long before English is not even recognizable.. and in many parts of the country it already aint.. “why aintchyu axed me if you could put that $2 only mess on that sack o’ chips?”
Also on my desk is a “stress ball” my daughter bought me. Define irony. Next thing you know my flu virus will bring me a cup of hot tea. Gee thanks. I snapped, “What, do I look stressed to you!!!!???” Veins all popping out of my forehead and things. Shadup I was kidding. Anyways she gives me this white, foam, golf-ball-dimpled stress ball. White.
