Some people can’t get away with anything. Paris Hilton appears to be such a person. At left is her LVPD mugshot, which was taken after a bag of cocaine fell out of her purse while her boyfriend was being questioned by cops for driving down the LV strip as a cloud of marijuana smoke poured out of his windows.
But really, given the unorthodox angle of Hilton’s mugshot picture, we’re wondering who was intoxicated; Hilton or the cop taking the picture?
What is with that? And why does she look so pleasant? Oh I know why, because people with money can buy their way out of trouble. Must be nice, huh?
Anyway, one Darwin Award coming up for Paris!!

The NYC cabbie slasher dude has been arraigned. I vote for a speedy trial. Get this dude in general population as quickly as possible. In other slasher newsthe Michigan serial slasher dude has been ordered held without bond. He is suspected in over ten slashings , five resulting in death!
In related news, a government report published Thursday states that 90,000 inmates report being victimized sexually by another inmate or staff member in 2009. NYC cabbie slasher dude will need to watch his back if he wishes to preserve his virginity.
Tiger Woods is back in the hunt after shooting a killer 6 under par at his latest golf tournament. I don’t know what or where the tournament is. All I know is that his smiling mugshot is all over the news. He looks uplifted, inspired and refreshed. You would be too if you owed your wife $750,000,000 and just got your job back. (more…)

What? In the middle of maybe the worst economy ever the FIRST LADY has taken Air Force 2 and 40 of her “closest friends” to Spain for a vacation. Air Force 2 costs $11k per hour to “rent.”
The White House has said taxpayers will not have to cover the cost, which comes out to about $145,000. That means the Obamas are paying $145,000 for a round trip to Spain. Michelle and her “friends” will occupy 60 rooms of a 5 Star hotel valued at $2,500 per room, per night. (more…)

American Idol is done. Put a fork in it. The finalists blow (not in a good way), Degeneres is a terrible judge and has ruined the show, Kara gets to talk WAY too much, and of course Simon is leaving after the finale.
Looks to me like Paula got out at the right time. X Factor’s going to be huge and if I’m Randy Jackson I’m begging Simon for a job.
On a semi related note, you have to love this pic of Ellen I found on Google. It is her in a private jet apparently. Isn’t it cute? Nice carbon footprint there Degeneres. You are so green girl. You go girl.

I really like Joaquin the actor. Gladiator and Walk the Line are two of my favorite movies and he was awesome in both. But all good things must come to an end… some earlier than others…
Casey Affleck (Ben Affleck’s lil’ bro) is shopping the documentary film he shot of Joaquin Phoenix’ “lost year” (the year in which Joaquin Phoenix attempted a rap career). This from the LA Times yesterday after a screening to potential buyers: “Several buyers said the film overflowed with Hollywood debauchery, including more male frontal nudity than you’d find in some gay porn films and a stomach-turning sequence in which someone feuding with Phoenix defecates on the actor while he’s asleep.”

Good Lord what kind of RGB blue is this guy wearing? It literally hurts my eyes. With the flaming red hair and beet red face all he needs is a white bandana to look like the USA flag!
Is it ironic that he’s been singing the blues about the raw deal he claims he got at NBC in his blue shirt? Does anyone really care that this multi- millionaire minimally talented guy got “screwed” by NBC? He should have been happy to have a show in ANY time slot! And doesn’t he look like a convict in this shot?
